Descend over 12 meters underground into an ancient quarry, transformed over the centuries from a burial site into a shelter during the War. A quiet, evocative, and fascinating place, where the past resurfaces from the rock-carved walls. This is an experience for those who want to truly live ancient Rome, beyond the usual routes.

You’ll also have the chance to visit one of the most important burial complexes of early Christianity: the Catacombs of San Callisto.
This sacred site spans over 30 hectares and is a labyrinth of underground galleries and crypts, preserving stories of faith, martyrs, and popes. Here, Callixtus I, before becoming pope, was entrusted with managing these catacombs, turning them into the main cemetery of the early Church.
